We are Aotearoa’s first Te Reo Māori Afterschool and Holiday Programmes.
' Mā te huruhuru, ka rere te mānu'. - 'With feathers, a bird can fly'. Our kaupapa is to let our tamariki explore through the Art of Play. We know that through play, our tamariki develop the necessary social skills that prepare them for a lifetime of positive interactions. At Kura Kārearea we encourage all our tamariki to play through varying types of mediums: purakau, mahi toi, hakinakina, kemu, and pūnaha rorohiko while immersed in Te Reo Māori.
